Current News was an internet-television hybrid news show that aired every hour on Current TV, the network founded by Al Gore in the early aughts. An experiment in UGC, it showcased the most popular stories in the Current community board. As one of the show’s producers, I sourced content and wrote scripts that were read by a robot news reader. Be gentle, it was 2008.
